All of their pieces are handmade in Kyrgyzstan by talented craftspeople using natural, local and traditional materials. In addition to providing their craftspeople with great working conditions, KANCHA is committed to pushing some of their profits back into the Kyrgyz communities in which they work. I chose to try out the KANCHA Naked Laptop Sleeveas I adore the simple, classic minimalist design of this piece. I also love that it is made from natural materials as so many device sleeves out there are made out of synthetic fibres and plastics.
THE DETAILS
Materials & Construction: The KANCHA Naked Laptop Sleeve is made out of a luxe and durable felted merino wool and supple leather. The design is so classic and sleek and the sleeve hugs my MacBook perfectly. The smart design of the sleeve makes it easy to stow and access my laptop. One thing that makes KANCHA so great is that they offer custom sizing for devices, so you can get the perfect fit.
The back of the sleeve is mostly covered by a leather pocket which contributes to the substantial feel of this piece while also providing a handy place to store your power cable, notebook or anything else you need to carry with you.
Design: In addition to the more minimalist Naked and Dark Matter designs, KANCHA offers pieces with absolutely stunning embroidery. How pretty is this Jungle design?
